Arguayo is a tiny village with a population of just over 500 people and is located in the municipality of Santiago Del Teide. It is well worth a visit.
It is approximately 920 meters above sea level, and only about five minutes-drive from the town of Santiago village. It has easy access now, given that the motorway link TF passes close by.
Arguayo is famous for its almond trees in blossom walks, where you can see the beautiful almond trees in blossom, normally around the end of January into February.
It is also well known for its pottery centre and many other hiking routes.
If you are in that part of the island, pop in for a visit. It is only small village but there is plenty to see, and the surroundings are beautiful.
The church square is a nice place to visit.
